I'm not the typical girl.

'Nuff said.  I don't go around shopping myself to death when I have money.  Nor do I eat myself to death when I'm depressed.  I don't hang around in coffee shops and I don't like to hang out in the salon.

Once in awhile, I go to shop for new items to wear, usually depending on the necessity.  If I feel like I've worn the same clothes for quite more than often than usual, then its time I give in to the desire for shopping.  But ooopps.. I'd rather not shop in the mall.  Divisoria or Quiapo is the place!

That weekend was the worst I've had in months.  Friday night, I had to accompany my honey while he was out playing poker with his officemates.  Though I slept ultra late the day before, I knew he'll be needing my help to safely drive home that night.  Friday night (err, saturday morning), I got home around 2am.  We had to wake up at 4am to prep for my sister's UPCAT exam.  It was though, but the family needed me there.

Mama and I accompanied our upcoming college family member to her exam area.  From 6:30am, we walked towards the Shopping Center, then to the UP Chapel.  We prayed for her goodluck in the exams then had our breakfast at Rodics.  Oh, good old Rodics.  Never fails to please my tastebuds!

We got home around 8:30am.  I had to cancel my appointment with the derma since I really had to catch up a quick nap.  It'll be quite a short rest before we pick up my sister by noon.  We arrived at UP later than noon.  With plans to go to Divisoria, we dropped by UST to grab some lunch before heading there.

The trip to Divisoria was actually more fun than the shopping itself.  Fun being stuck in traffic.  We planned to get there by 2pm, but instead, we arrived at 4pm.  Whew!  That's a lot of traffic!  While on the road, I managed to adore/hate the old infrastructures of Manila.  Thought much about politics, and how they have evolved, but their performance has not.  Ahhh, but it was well worth it.  People were everywhere (as usual), but at least, you get to bargain for the items that you want.  That's what I like about that place.  You only get the savings you can (if you know how to).  The only hassle is actually trying to find where your most desired item could be.

My honey was able to buy shirts and polo for his casual/office wear.  I did not plan to waste more than 1K for them all, but I ended up buying more than my budget. LOL.  I don't regret it though, I was able to buy more clothes for the very small value of 1.5K, while my honey bought only a handful.

My feet hurt that time, and so were my heavy eyes.  Come to think of it, I went for almost the whole stretch of 24hours with just 4hours of sleep!  We even managed to eat at Kamay Kainan for an eat all you can buffet meal that night.  :P  Good thing my mom said I already had those red marks in my eyes, and so we had to retire for the day.

We will surely go back to Divisoria again soon.  This time, loaded with more cash, and more energy! :D
