Here's a short ruby script that opens a spreadsheet file with a full name column and splits that into a first name and a last name. * With assumption that the last word from the full name column is the last name
TLDR: I accidentally overwrote an entire folder and just wanted to pick up a file from a git log. Problem: It had dashes prepended to every line. Solution: Regex + Sublime Use Sublime to grep ^-(\w)* and just backspace or delete your dashes. Hooray! Quick win! Image credits: https://lh3.
