There can be so many things that can upset me.. I cannot begin to enumerate the things that can easily upset me.. but though they are such, they also are easy to forget and won't really ruin my day.
Like for example, how I hate it when I see a mother trying to spank her kid at the mall for simply acting childish.. or when a lady doesn't act like a lady in public, or even how a cashier at a counter might ask you silly questions, some very irritating and difficult to understand.. nonetheless, these are things that one can simply ignore. After all, these things can never hurt you. These can seem very trivial but important at times, but still, it can never make one so angry at all.
But somehow, knowing my nature, as the workaholic that I am, I love my job. I love to be an example, a role model for those who are also planning to take this line of specialization. IT is definitely one of the most in demand careers right now, and its true that some move to this profession simply because they'd love to get more fame and/or money.
Me? I work because I love to be a scientist. One who revolutionizes the old fashioned way of doing things. I want to make other people's lives easier and fun. Never mind toiling.. I just love working. I don't care about the money nor about the fame. What gratifies me the most is the end result. Needless to say, I am very much into my career.. my work is everything for me. Sometimes, I'd miss lunch, I'd miss outings, I'd miss sleeping and other sorts of recreation just because I am sooooo into my work that I simply forget about these things.
Having said all these, do you now have a clue what I hate the most?? I hope you do.
I HATE IT WHEN I AM ACCUSED OF NOT WORKING… OF BEING PLAIN AND SIMPLY LAZY..
A human torch for work will never be lazy.. the person who continuesly fuel people with inspiration by doing work herself beyond measures is not someone who is lazy and will NEVER be lazy! Forget the beauty regimen, forget about staying fit.. just do the job and do it well. If you hear someone talk like this, would you think this person is lazy?? If you know you're company is crashing and your manager above all is the only one who seems to be unaffected and remains arduous with her job.. What would you think about her?
Maybe, for one, she's crazy. She's trying to rescue a dying company. Well, then she's a crazy hero. Otherwise, she might simply be obnoxious. She might seem to be unaffected because she just doesn't care. She goes on anyway. But nonetheless, the word "LAZY" doesn't suit her.
I WILL NEVER NEVER EVER BE LAZY!!! MARK MY WORD!!!
