While on the way home, as usual, I had to compete with a lot of people going to Quiapo. I got a little pissed off because the drivers feel like once they have the “Derecho” sign boards they automatically upgrade their fare to 30 bucks! They still pass by the same road, and drop people off anywhere they need to get off.. so what’s the difference??? I’ll let them be, for you’ll always win some and lose some.
The driver was a music lover (though he’s quite an a**). He was playing Eagles music, good choice. “Love will keep us alive” was one of the songs in the queue. What’ so amusing was that, when I got off the train, while walking towards the church, I heard this song again. :) I really wish just love will keep us alive.
